Jeffrey Miller
1949-1990
I considered Jeff my best friend from grade school through WHS. He once jokingly told me he could definitively prove he was related to Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Marilyn Monroe. As kids we spent a lot of time exploring the woods around the Grand River, and blowing up model ships with firecrackers. I remember Jeff had a hard time learning to swim because he was built like a rock, and sank like one.
The last time I saw Jeff was around 1988 when he told me he had taken a new job with the Secretary of State in Detroit reviewing the status of suspended drivers - never saw or heard from him again. It saddened me greatly to hear he was gone -Christopher Nelson-

Brian Riley

If you don't have a Brian Riley story, you missed the best part of WHS!

Brian owned and operated the Irish Pub on West Saginaw street for many years.  Many of us often had a beer and the best soup and burgers in town there. One always felt like family when visiting the Irish Pub.  It is still operating under the same name but different ownership as his wife sold after Brian's untimely death.
